Bridge Valley’s Leader in Training program aims to provide an exciting, safe, encouraging, challenging and fun environment for young people to extend, or begin, their leadership journey. It is for ages 14+ and involves a week long adventure out at Bridge Valley. The program involves team challenges, activities, serving, cleaning, understanding camp life and responsibilities, helping run games, joining in on mainstage, reflection time and plenty more!

LIT runs alongside our kids holiday programme, so anyone in this LIT programme gets some experience of the behind-the-scenes of camp life such as helping run games, doing dishes, setting up and packing down activities, and more. Along with the camp side of it, there will also be sessions with experienced people in our community who will teach how to lead yourself well, how to lead others well, teach bible-focused sessions, and personal growth. LIT is a great place to make friends and have a memorable week!

This camp is happening from 2nd – 7th July. LIT’s arrive the same day as our volunteer leaders, one day before campers arrive. Usually we have around 6-10 people in our LIT programme, around 20-25 volunteer leaders aged 15-20, staff members and interns, and around 60-70 campers aged 7-13.
